:(

Bismillahir rahmanir raheem

Really miss my granddad. Thanks to those who recited surah fatiha or made dua for him... He passed away in his sleep very early this morning. To Allah we return. He was a great person and I miss him a lot... May Allah SWT pardon him and grant him jannah, ameen.

I have so many blog followers that I hope even just a few of you will take a moment to recite surah fatiha for him... I understand some may say that's bold to ask, but it is a small thing for me to type out that sentence. It would mean a lot. All we have and can offer are prayers. Makes me think of the transience of this world and what really is substantial in this world and the next.

Irada Arts Review

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem

I recently ordered and received a bunch of Islamic wall decals for my apartment. I got six decals in total, although doubles of some small ones I placed over doorways. I was initially worried about the ease of applying and removing the decals. After watching the Irada how-to video on YouTube, my husband and I embarked on our quest (lol). We were able to apply the larger ones in under 10 minutes and the small ones in under 5. Carefully seperating the decals from the backing is what took the most time. They're just stickers so removing them later will require simple tools and time.

Totally worth it. My son, who is two, tells everyone we painted them. I'm not sure why he says that but it cracks me up. I like that it offers the chance to talk about Allah subhanAllah wa ta'Ala with him. They offer that same chance with anyone else who enters my home- Muslim or not. Seriously. They all want to know what each one means and then the convos progress from there. Most importantly, I love waking up and seeing Allah's words as another constant reminder in my home. I can't get over how awesome the decals are, masAllah.

As for customer service, Irada is great They remained in contact with me and helpful throughout the ordering and shipping process. I had no problems and never felt like I was getting anything other than good service.

I plan on framing the larger decals because I think it will look better considering where they are, but here are a few pics of them without frames. If you want to see the decals framed, they have pictures on their website and FB. The above picture is in my living room up above the couch. I will try to post better pictures of it when it's framed inshAllah. The others are above doorways, in my dining area, and on a column near my front door. I was most excited about putting "Verily in the rememberance of Allah do hearts find rest," over my children's bedroom door. I always wanted that in the nursery!

PS- About vlogging, I did post a video but took it down almost immediately because it was awful. My wee ones were sleeping and I was trying to stay near them but whisper so just took it down. I will consider doing one in the future but really I didn't feel too comfortable doing it. Apologies!
