Bismillah
So I finally started my decorations for Eid, yay! I wasn't sure I'd get to do them with all that has been going on, but alhamduliah I made time to at least put up streamers and a few signs. I'm a shortie so putting up the streamers meant conquering my fear of heights. In the end I just put an ottoman atop a chair, aaah! I finished by cutting out some stars, writing each family members name on one, then attaching them to a pendant with some gold ribbon. Pretty easy and nothing really special to be frank, but it made me feel productive! :) My 2 am adventureeee.

InshAllah I will try and decorate a little bit more and send out our Eid Mubarak cards in a few days. It's the first time we're really doing this stuff for Eid but I think we'll try to keep it up, inshAllah... It's really made the whole thing even more fun for me already.
ANYWAY, I hope all of you have been enjoying your Ramadan. I found some adorable little Ramadan booklets to print out for my son I really liked... You can find it on this blog. He hasn't really grapsed Ramadan yet but I enjoy trying to convey what it's about, lol.

I like the idea of the hanging stars. You've inspired me to decorate again. Our semigloss paint doesn't take to tape very well and a lot of our Ramadan Decorations fell down.
As Salaamu Alaikum! Ramadan Kareem!
That lego blog was too cute (and informative) for words! I love it when people think of creative ways of teaching this wonderful deen to our children, may Allah guide them! My life has been quite crazy lately with a 2 year old and a newborn, but you have inspired me. I think I will try the star idea as well, esecially since my two year old can recognize her name now :)) If nothing else, I'll atleast hang the stars, inshaAllah. Thank u for sharing :))
